What is STEM anyway?

STEM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics.

Today's parents and society as a whole have started to understand the importance of STEM learning for all ages.  With the advancement of technologies in our daily lives we have grown more accustomed and in some ways dependent upon these amazing new innovations.


STEM combines the best aspects of science, technology, engineering, and math then teaches them in a unified manner using fun real world applications.  STEM challenges minds with practical hands on learning teaching critical thinking, spacial  reasoning, and information analysis.



Variations of STEM include:

STEAM science, technology, engineering, arts, and math.

STREAM science, technology, robotics, engineering, arts, and Math.

GEMS girls in engineering, math, and science.

THAMES technology, hands on, arts, math, engineering, and science.

And more.



STEM for all ages and genders is an important part of today's and tomorrow's education.  Starting early is highly recommend but not necessary.  Toys are evolving with the times and companies are introducing more and more STEM challenges and creative learning tools.  From computers designed for toddlers, robotics building kits, chemistry sets, electronics toys, all the way to build your own robots and drones for us big kids as well STEM is taking the world by storm.
